I'm Kirsten – you can call me KJ – and as a family therapist, I work with moms who feel stretched thin by the mental load of parenting and with parents who want to create more connection and calm in their families.

Becoming a parent can be a wonderful and fulfilling experience. And, let's face it, parenting can also be stressful.

The constant demands on your time and attention can leave you feeling overwhelmed and exhausted.

As a family therapist, parent coach, and a parent myself, I want to help you manage the stress that can sap family closeness. If you are struggling with feeling exhausted from carrying the invisible load or with family communication, I would love to help your family connect in a warm and genuine way.

Let's work together to build the family life you want.

Why This Approach Works

This isn’t generic “mom therapy” or surface level coaching. It’s relational and real. It’s based on your lived experience, your ambitions, and the invisible pressures you carry.

You’ll leave sessions feeling seen, understood, and capable of choosing how to show up for yourself and your family.

“I'm so grateful for the support I received from KJ during my early years of motherhood. I worked with her when my daughter was in day care and pre-school. The parenting ‘tools’ I learned were and continue to be extremely valuable. My daughter is now 13 and we have a strong bond. I believe this bond is in large part due to the support, encouragement and practical tools that I received from KJ. If you are a parent in need of support, I highly recommend that you reach out!”
