FAQs about therapy with KJ
Who do you work with?
I offer anxiety & overwhelm therapy to women 18 and over. I also provide connection-based parenting therapy and support to families with children ages 2 - 9.
Do you work with couples?
I do not provide couples therapy at this time. Addressing your individual and family concerns in therapy can often be helpful to improving couple relationships.
When do you schedule sessions?
Appointments are Monday through Friday and are scheduled between 9-3:30 pm. I do not have weekend appointments or evening time slots at this time. If you need a specific time, please note that on the contact form or when you call to schedule your free 20-minute consultation.
How long are therapy sessions?
Our first appointment, or intake session, is 60 minutes long. After that, regular appointments are 50 minutes. The first appointment is a little longer, so we can begin to get to know each other and determine whether we are a good fit for one another.
Where are sessions held?
At this time, I am providing online therapy services for women and parents in Seattle and throughout Washington state.
Do you accept insurance?
I am currently in-network with Premera and LifeWise insurance plans. For all other insurance plans, I am considered an out-of-network provider. I recommend contacting your insurance company directly to ask about your out-of-network mental health benefits. I provide superbills for reimbursement, and many clients receive significant reimbursements that greatly lower the cost of therapy.
How much do you charge?
A therapy session is $175, and payment is due at the time of service. Appointments canceled with less than 24-hour notice will be charged in full.
How do I get in touch with you?
The easiest way to reach me is by scheduling a free consultation on my online calendar, calling 661-459-1385, or by filling out the contact form.
