You’re tired. You want to sleep. But when bedtime comes, your body or mind aren’t cooperating.
Maybe you lie awake for hours, or you wake up in the middle of the night and can’t fall back asleep. Or you wake up too early and find yourself watching the clock. After enough nights like this, sleep can start to feel like work instead of something that happens naturally.
You may find yourself worrying about bedtime, changing your routines, trying supplements or sleep aids, or spending the night wondering how you’ll function the next day on only a few hours of sleep.
CBT-I gives you a structured way to understand what’s keeping you awake at night and change the patterns that keep the cycle going. As the first-line treatment for chronic insomnia and can help you get back to sleeping with less effort and worry.

Do you accept insurance?
I am currently in-network with Premera and LifeWise insurance plans. For all other insurance plans, I am considered an out-of-network provider. I recommend contacting your insurance company directly to ask about your out-of-network mental health benefits. I provide superbills for out-of-network reimbursement, and many clients receive significant reimbursements that greatly lower the cost of therapy.
-
Nighttime awakenings are common among all sleepers, but repeatedly staying awake in bed can strengthen the association between bed and wakefulness. CBT-I addresses these patterns to help your brain reconnect bed with sleep.
-
Many people with chronic insomnia have already tried supplements, sleep aids, routines, or other strategies. CBT-I takes a different approach by addressing the patterns that may be maintaining your insomnia rather than simply trying harder to sleep.
